God’s Christmas Gift to Man
A baby boy is born today;
‘Emmanuel’ shall be his name;
To save all mankind, from its sins,
A virgin’s womb’s, from whence he came.
He brings to earth both joy and peace,
From Bethlehem, small town’s outskirts;
“The savior babe is ‘King of Kings’!”
The news is told first to shepherds.
And angel choirs too sing aloud:
“Glory to God in the highest,
And peace to earth, men of good-will!”
The manger baby sleeps half-dress’d!
The Star of Bethlehem too brings
From east, three wise-men, also kings;
On Christmas day, rejoice earthlings,
As world-o’er, every church bell rings!
The gift of God is Jesus Christ-
The sign of love of God for man;
The Messiah revealed Heaven;
Now go to God’s abode, all can!
