mother of mothers

mother
let me sing your glory
day in day out
as I breath in and out your breath.
let me render the beauty of your mysteries
which I will tell through multiple stories;

we step your body
yet we pretend as if nothing has ever happened to you;
we dig down your caverns
yet we fail to see your grace;
we pollute your breath
yet we keep on saying the ozone layer is thinning;
we do most things against positivity
yet we believe we are always positive.

oh mother nature
wither goes mankind
in hurries and worries
always carrying burdens unnecessary
trampling you along the way
yet you remain patient and silence and forgiving;
every seconds you hold us together
so that we may remain as mankind
though in layers we are polluted in multiples
you still care to allow us
roam freely over your body;

oh mother nature
wither goes mankind
half grown brutes we are
full of tainted diseases
jealousy, hatred, anger, revenge, greed and lust
have overgrown humanity itself;
the best we remove from your hold
the bad we throw into your hold
yet you remain forever in love with mankind.

i wonder, why?
tell me your stories
and take me along
mother nature.
