That Horrible Night

Last month on that horrible night,
Everything was wrong and nothing was right.
I felt like walking down the street,
But someone tried to pull me very tight.

Moving ahead..
I saw enormous fingers,
like someone pointing right at me.
I was scared, what was it??
..silly me, it was just a tree.

Moving ahead...
I saw something big and furry,
creeping around a house.
I was scared, what was it??
..silly me, it was just a mouse.

Moving ahead..
I saw green eyes shining and,
staring at me like a bat.
I was scared, what was it??
..silly me, it was just a cat.

Moving ahead..
I saw a big scary white face,
looking straight into my room.
I was scared, what was it??
..silly me, it was just the moon.

Moving ahead..
While reading the poem,
one can imagine my destination.
Are you scared, what was it??
..silly you, it was all an imagination!

The font formerly used by Nikunj is rare. This made the words illegible to those who did not have access to it on their computers.
I hope the poem is viewable now.

Dear Nikunj,
After seeing Shanta's comments on type of font used by you in your poem That Terrible night being the cause for the words not being visible,as I was wondering what to do the problem got solved by itself and one fine morning I could access the poem in words. Belated though it is I thought I must say itis excellent and I enjoyed reading the same. What I liked in this poem is the unique way of communication of your thought thro words in lines.Well Done Keep it up.Regards
