The Home-leaving!

Blame not your mother;
Blame not your father;
Blame their old age, brother;
Things will be fine, other!
Parents sometimes blunder!
When love in excess flows,
Directionless, it goes;
Some hatred too, it shows,
When it exceeds the dose!
The wheel of fortune turns;
Till then, some anger burns;
Life, sorrow and love, churns,
Until lessons, man learns!
“Mother, must I have to leave our home today? ”
“Father, do I have to quit our place this way? ”
“Brother, don’t you have anything to say? ”
“Sister, won’t you intercede for me this day? ”
“God, help me to take the right decision, I pray! ”
But things have gone beyond a certain point;
Perhaps, I ought to leave this family-joint;
My heart still tells me to ignore and stay;
“Yet, I must go! ” Will not someone say, ‘nay?
’I stayed for years with parents, since my wedding-day;
‘But I must go! ’ only my parents say;
My sorrowing heart cannot remain still gay;
The ones who brought me forth, I must obey!
My parents slogged all life for children’s sake;
Their love for me can never be a fake;
Their debt of up-bringing and love, I take;
Them to realize their mistake, Please God make.
May be, this is a blessing in disguise;
May be, God wants to make me pretty wise;
May be, God tests me whether I am nice;
May be I must work hard and avoid vice.
Yet, time and tide are not in my favor;
Fate has played a cruel trick, quite clever;
This state of things cannot remain forever;
The love of kith and kin, none can sever!
I leave this lovely home with a heavy heart!
Whatever happened, I didn’t wish to part;
Misunderstandings cropped up from the start;
The truth will prevail after I depart!
I leave our home with a heavy heart.
