The rains lash

The rains lash ..

the rains lash

and oceans thrash

the land seethes and sways

the skies thunder and blaze

as they view

what we've brought the world to

and ponder

whether it is time

to erase everything

and begin anew

and this time

without loose cannons

like men

who will ruin it all

again

'Lousy weather',

we pronounce.

'We should build bigger dams',

we announce

~ Shanta ~

Yes, this is a time to erase whatever damage we have done so far to nature, and start a life that will teach everyone to respect nature.

:)
magiceye, it has been raining so much in chennai recently that many localities have knee deep water. even inside the houses in some areas. and another 48 hours of heavy downpour is predicted.

try telling that & convincing the relentless earthquakes & downpours & cyclones & floods & lowpressure frequently building up in the oceans in south east asia.
right now, the future seems to be in the arc building business :)

Sorry to hear that.
We have been walking all over nature. Now nature is turning around and talking back. Most everywhere.
